Sam Hale, MFT Intern

Student Intern

Sam Hale, Student Intern, will graduate from East Central University with his master’s in Counseling Psychology in 2025. Sam joined FRSS with a unique blend of experience including 30 years of executive-level Human Resources expertise combined with over 5 years of performance coaching with athletes and elite performers. In his coaching role, he helps clients improve their confidence, overcome negative thinking, and counter-defeating perfectionistic behaviors. Sam’s professional training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-Insomnia (CBT-I).


Sam has been married for 30 years to his wife, Kristen, and has four adult children, two of whom are married and two who just left the house to begin their college experience. In their newly found empty nest, Sam and Kristen enjoy attending sporting events and raising their dogs, Ellie and Dexter. In his spare time, Sam attempts to play golf and delights in watching most televised sports, regardless of the season.
